Most beginning and low-budget directors ignore lighting when making their films. Professional lighting sets are expensive and are usually one of the first things to be left out when the budget gets tight. However, good lighting can help the filmmaker create or improve the artistic impression of the scene.

Those of us who are following the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, as well as all other soccer fans, must know how much influence a manager’s actions and personality have on the overall performance of the team.

The anti‐hero (or anti‐heroine) is a central character in a dramatic or narrative work who lacks the qualities of nobility and magnanimity expected of traditional heroes and heroines in romances and epics. He seems more human — more like us — just because he is flawed.
